Maintain Structure in the Days Leading up to the Holiday Break

Your students are definitely feeling the shift of energy in the air as the holidays are approaching. Your excitement and anticipation is contagious! Try your best to maintain a structured environment in your classroom. I know it can be tempting to pop in a movie and let go of your lesson plans, but now it is more important than ever before to stick to a schedule! Sure, it’s okay to have a little fun, but make sure you prepare your students for it. Use a visual schedule, prepare them for any changes, and maintain structure!

Also, use a visual to help count down the days until the break. Send the same visual home to your students’ families so they can review it as well.
